| Balance and Buddha |
The addition of flowers to this piece adds weight and seemingly unbalance, yet Buddha, though smaller in size, is of equal weight. Is this vase an offering? Is the offering the vase, the vase with flowers, and/or just the flowers? Can the offering be any flower? Any color?
The lighting on these pieces add another dimension. Are we meant to see the piece and the shadow this way? How would we feel if this was top lit? So many questions.
